Welcome to Sacred Gongs! Featured on this website is the work of Master Wu, a traditional Chinese Gong Master living in Taiwan. Master Wu has been making gongs for over 25 years. He only uses the finest brass materials. Master Wu can custom make any size gong and can tune a gong to any desired tone. He even does chakra tuned gongs. Making gongs is his passion!
In Chinese culture, gongs are used for music, temple celebrations and Asian music performances. Smaller gongs are used for meditation and personal reflection. Bigger gongs are often used in temples and for formal cultural celebrations – the sound travels far and deep with resonating cleansing tones that clears the chaos of city life.
